If you want to learn how to achieve total financial freedom,it will benefit you to ask yourself the following three questions:

1. What is my motivation for wanting to achieve total financial freedom?

2. Why is it so difficult for me to achieve it?

3. How can I make it easier?

TASK I

Write down all negative thoughts and associations concerning money, wealth and abundance.

Use some time and really let yourself feel and think and make sure you write it down. It's OK if you write things twice, just write what comes into your mind without judging it.

When you have written everything down, take a good look at all your negative thoughts and try to find out where they came from, and why you took them.

This is not to judge what has happened to you in the past. To be resentful and find someone to blame for your negative thought patterns will not bring you anywhere.

This is for you to become aware of how you are thinking about money and wealth. It is a first step in changing. You cannot jump over and skip this subject. It will just fire back on you at another time. Ideas and thoughts which get suppressed and blocked out will.........

To focus on how to achieve total financial freedom, visualisation techniques can be very helpful. Not just once in a while imagining and dreaming of where you want to be, but making it a regular practise every day.

The techniques are simple and easy to follow; you only need some persistence to keep on doing them.

To start with; picture yourself where you really would like to be in your life. Picture yourself in an ideal situation. How would it look? Would you have a lot of money, a big house, and a nice car? Or maybe you have a specific goal that you would like to achieve, like a certain job in a certain company.

Maybe you even want to be the successful owner of your own business.

Make that picture very clear in your mind, and keep focusing on it. To help you keep your focus and to remind your self of your goal, you can make picture cards. Cut out pictures from magazines that represent your goals and stick them on a carton frame. Take a picture of yourself and include it on the same frame. This picture frame you hang on a place where you can see it often.

I will now introduce you to the concept of EQ,- Emotional Intelligence

EQ is an important part of your road to success. You would not be able to experience different feelings like joy and satisfaction, without having any form of emotional intelligence. You would not be able to discriminate between good and bad feelings and why they occur.

Emotional intelligence is the ability of making conscious choices of thoughts, feelings, and actions when relating with yourself and others. It is essential in your relationships with your family, friends and colleagues.

According to the psychological definition , there is 5 different characteristics who defines Emotional Intelligence:

1. Self-awareness--knowing your emotions, recognizing feelings as they occur, and discriminating between them

2. Mood management--handling feelings so they're relevant to the current situation and you react appropriately

3. Self-motivation--"gathering up" your feelings and directing yourself towards a goal, despite self-doubt, inertia, and impulsiveness

4. Empathy--recognizing feelings in others and tuning into their verbal and nonverbal cues

5. Managing relationships--handling interpersonal interaction, conflict resolution, and negotiations

In this article you will find reviews of different motivational audio programs. Currently there are only two reviews, but this section will continue to grow. I am a fan of audio programs myself and I have been using them a lot. A few years back I started to listen to self-help tapes and it was a great help.

You can use your time more effectively if you listen to audio programs. A great example is the time you spend in your car, or the time you are using to do simple tasks in your job. If you have the kind of work where you can let the radio on with music all day, you could consider playing a motivational or educational program instead.

The average person spends between 500 to 1000 hours in their car each year, which is the equivalent of 3 to 6 months of 40-hour work weeks. If you would use some of this time to educate yourself, you will have a great advantage in gaining financial freedom.

You get audio programs in different forms; MP3's, CD's and tapes. Personally my favorite is MP3's because they are instantly accessible. CD's and tapes needs to shipped, so that adds to the cost and takes time. Home equity loans are a way of using the money that you've invested in your mortgage by borrowing against it.

Essentially, a home equity loan is a 'second mortgage' - a loan secured by your property. If you don't make good on your payments, the lending company or bank can force the sale of your house to recover their money.

There are two major types of home equity loans - home equity loans and home equity lines of credit, also called HELOCs. Most lenders that offer home equity loans offer both kinds. A home equity loan for $10,000 and a home equity line of credit for $10,000 are two completely different animals though they have a lot of similar features.

Home Equity Loan

If you apply for and are granted a home equity loan for $10,000 at 7% APR for 15 years, you will receive a check or a deposit to your bank account of $10,000. That is the full amount of the loan that you can ever draw on that particular application. Depending on the terms agreed upon, you may have one to several months before you have to begin repaying the loan. You'll pay a fixed amount every month until the full amount of the loan and the interest charge is paid off. You'll know from the very start how much you'll be repaying.

The collateralization of the loan allows a lower interest rate than without it, because by collateralizing, the asset owner agrees to allow the forced sale (foreclosure) of the asset in order to pay back the loan. The risk to the lender is reduced so the interest rate offered is lower.

Making the plan and getting the overview over your current financial situation is not enough. You need to put the plan into action and follow it up and evaluate it as you go along.

Many things can influence the plan after it has been put into action. Maybe your job situation changes, maybe the overall economic situation changes in your country, like higher interest rates. Maybe the oil and gas price keeps changing.

You will need to make a clear plan of how to get where you want to. The financial plan needs to be broken down into realistic achievable goals with a clear deadline.

You will need to make a list of goals of what you would like to achieve with your financial planning.

Saving money

Consider yourself first when it comes to saving money. Get yourself
turned on to the idea that your financial future will be prosperous as
a result of your efforts.

Set aside 10% of your income, just for you. By that I mean set them
aside on a savings account with higher interest rate then your normal
account.

What is important is that the money is out of reach. If you save them

on an account where you have easy access, you will more easily spend
them. Get them out of your life! Not in your pocket!
You can also be well off saving in funds. Pick safe funds when you
pick, do not go for high risk investment funds or you might end up
resenting your saving plan.

The Rich Jerk Review March 2006

Finally, after thinking about it for long time I made a move and got The Rich Jerk ebook myself.

After reading many reviews and hearing the opinions of different people I decided that It was time to check it out.

And I am very happy with that descision; the book is packed full of to-the-point advice.

It cuts out clear strategies of how to make money online, and makes the strategies easy to follow.

The book just got an update (March 2006) where there is a whole section dedicated to people that are new to making money online.

So if you have read previous reviews where beginners where advised not to buy the book, you might want to reconsider.

I just started another exiting book, called “The One Minute Millionaire”. The book is written by Mark Viktor Hansen and Robert Allen and was first published in 2002. I only read half the book, but the half I read was an exiting novel. The book is split in two: The right-side pages tell the (fictional) story of a woman who loses everything and has to earn 1 million dollars in 90 days. Even if it is fiction, the story is intense and dramatic, and of course, full of learning.
I got so touched by the story that I read it non-stop from start to end. I am looking forward to tell you about the other half which is the “logical” part of the book.

One more thing: In the book “Cracking the millionaire Code” I read about Brandon Barnum which is the founder of the organization “Giving Globally”. Giving Globally has the goal of increasing global giving to 1 trillion dollars annually by 2020. They are having many projects world wide to help people in extreme poverty.

I signed up for a founding membership, and I received a thank you email from Brandon Barnum himself, telling me that I was the first founding member in Norway. He asked me to help promote Giving Globally in Europe, something I immediately said yes to.

Philanthropy, charity and tithing are concepts that all the teachers of wealth creation is holding up as a very important part of becoming wealthy. You might think that you are not wealthy, but if you stop comparing yourself to Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, you will find out that you are “well off”. The amount of money you use for a cup of coffee is what other people have as a daily budget. 1 billion people live on 1 dollar a day.

I have been working like crazy lately and finally it gives some results.

I have made reviews of “Cracking the Millionaire Code” by Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and of “TRUMP: How to Get Rich” by Donald Trump.

All books well worth reading and my favourite was “Cracking the Millionaire Code”. The book comes with a totally different view on wealth and money, and introduces giving as a way of doing business. Not bad, it turns everything upside down and challenges the old concept of capitalism. It will definitely shake up all your ideas of how you can create wealth.

Just read two great books here on the beaches of Chios. The first one is "How to get rich" by Donald Trump, and the second one is "Cracking the millionaire code" by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen. The book of D.Trump was a quick read in a "short, sharp and to the point" style. The book is very interesting and Trump shares his experience from business life and gives us a look in to the backround of "The Apprentice".

The other book called "Cracking the millionaire code" really blew my mind, with revolutionizing new ways of looking at money. The book of Hansen and Allen is a very spiritual book, and is the most exiting book I have read for a long time.

So it went a bit longer time than a week since the last update, and my excuse is the same as everyone else uses: I am so busy! Anyway, here I am again. Since last update I went from Norway to Holland, and from Holland to England where I together with my girlfriend conducted
a personal growth workshop in a place called Osho Leela ( www.osholeela.co.uk ).

I had the chance to go to the town of Glastonbury and to the Glastonbury tower. You propably heard the legend of King Arthur and of the holy grail and Avalon etc. Interesting anough to go there. The whole town is full of shops where you can buy crystals, incencse, Witch-brooms and magic wands.

I was thinking about it, and i thought that it would be a bad idea to open another crystal shop in that town. But then I had a bit of a realisation, why would it be a bad idea if you could stand out from the crowd and make your shop really interesting? I think it still would work.

When I work with my website it feels a bit like I just have opened another crystal shop in Glastonbury. There is hundreds of sites who deals with the same subject. So my task is to stand out and make the visit as interesting as possible.

As I told you in last update I am going on holidays to a Greek Island for a couple of weeks
and I plan to dive into Robert Kiyosaki`s "Rich Dad-Poor Dad" and into Robert Allen`s and Mark Victor Hansen`s "Cracking the millionaire code". And then last night a friend offered me to borrow his books of Donald Trump and I thought that would be interesting too.

So next interesting news is that I will make a review of Donald Trump`s "How to get rich"
The review of the Mind Makeover Magic system is on hold for now.

I created this BLOG a long time ago, but I never updated it. Now the BLOG gets visitors from my own websites so I feel a bit embarrased not to update it. Old news are boring! So I give you some new news! The news are....... I am going on holidays! To a greek island called Chios! I am going together with my girlfriend Isha. She is Italian and wants to swim on holidays. It fits me well because even if I am Norwegian, I hate the cold! And guess what else I am going to do on holidays, I am going to read more books! I just ordred the brand new book of Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen called "Cracking the millionaire code"(Hopefully i`ll be able to do that after reading the book.) and Robert Kiyosaki`s "Rich dad - Poor dad".
